As a kX Product Quality Tester I suggest you to wait for 3530 and use 3528. This version is still in EXPERIMENTAL ALPHA state with many new features that may, but also may not work good. Some bugs are fixed, but there are some bugs introduced also.

3529 is like a publically released developer build. 3530 will be out soon.

What kind of "initial" support does this driver have for Audigy 2? Are there any sound quality improvements as compared to Creative driver from Feb 11, 2003?
My endian is bigger than yours.

It supports inputs and outputs of Audigy2.
This is alternate driver, not Creative one.

@geo:
Who knows. Probably when they implement all important features for musicians (DS3D, EAX1/2/3 require a lot of programming). kX is intended for musicians, not gamers (at least yet). And also to people who don't like overbloated CL drivers.
