open file wipes out playlist, wont play .m4b files

anyway to get the open file to enqueue it self itstead of wiping out playlist
and it wont play .m4b, i have to rename it to .m4a and it plays fine

You probably want to use Add Files... instead.

i mean when you run the file, it will wipe out playlist

Enqueue incoming files by default when adding from the commandline under Preferences, General.

The best is to tell foobar2000 to open the files in a predetermined playlist.
