MP3 editor to make ringtones?

I'm looking for a simple, preferably free, MP3 editor to make ringtones from my CDs or sounds that I record.  When I google for "ringtone editor" I find quite alot of them "store" MY ringtone om the internet and/or they are limited in how the tones can be transferred to my cellphone.

TIA!

Audacity: http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

CD Wave: http://www.milosoftware.com/cdwave/index.html

Sound Engine: http://www.cycleof5th.com/en/products/sefree/index.htm

Tiny Wave Editor: http://www.yamahasynth.com/download/twe.html

You could also use the .WAV editor in EAC

Edit: I just now noticed you asked for an MP3 editor and not a WAV editor.  Oops.  Well, if you're planning on using sounds from CDs you have then a .WAV editor will work too, just edit the .WAV before you compress to MP3.
