DTS 5.1 Wav. to Dolby Digital 5.1 AC3

Is there a way to convert DTS 5.1 Wav files to Dolby Digital 5.1 AC3?

I have quite a few non commercial DTS 5.1 wav cd-r's.......unfortunatly, my bose lifestyle 28 only has an AC3 input

thanks- Mike

sorry, there is no direct way from DTS to AC3
One possible way is to decode your DTS(WAV) with a app called tranzcode to single WAVs then reencode (after upsampling 48KHz) to AC3.

Tranzcode(Mod) can be found on needfulthings

CYA Daphy

Edit: DTSWAV can only decoded in the commandline mode -> the simple GUI can´t manage this -> see exaples in the readme

Find wav2dts.exe. Use it to change the DTS WAV into DTS. Then load render the DTS with GraphEdit (DTS/AC3 Source --> AC3Filter or Intervideo Audio Decoder or Cyberlink Audio Decoder --> WavDest --> File Writer (as i.e. DTS_decoded.wav)).
Then load the 6-ch WAV into BeSweet and export it to AC3.
