Only avatar I've ever been disturbed by was on another board. It was the goatse(something) picture of a considerate guy giving a lesson in his inner anatomy.

Anybody got a link to that picture. I have a few friends I want to gross out.

yeah, some avatars bug me..  so i just use adshield to block em.  unfortunately it blocks all avatars for some reason, but I can live with that.

Hmmm...just saw that someone has an avatar that is 254 KB. Being on a 28.8 it took forever to load the page. Is there any way that we could limit the filesize to something more reasonable?

P.S. I know that I can disable avatars but I find it a good way to express one's self and generally people choose a reasonably sized images so I would prefer to keep them.

This is not possible. Avatar file size is limited to 20 kB. Maybe there were some pictures in that page? But avatars can't be that big..

It is possible. Look at the first avatar here: http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/forums/index....=1&t=3992&st=25

Hmm, yeah, that's correct. The 20 kB limit only applies to uploaded avatars.
There's no option to limit linked avatar file size.
