Tagging AAC files not working

I have ~3,000 AAC files which are not tagged.  Fortunately I have them within a manageable file structure  (C:\Music\Artist\Album\Title.AAC).

I can use foobar to extract tags from this path.  It works well within foobar, however no other app seems to recognize these Tags: EAC doesn't see it within EditID# Tags; WinAmp doesn't display Artist.  Seems that foobar only keeps the info as a text file.

I used EAC to Tag using Edit ID3 Tags, but WInamp does not display it at all.

I have recently used EAC to rip 3,000 MP3s, and the tagging works perfect for all apps.

What gives with AAC files that Tags are difficult to edit properly?

TIA

I have answered your question here.

Also it might be nice if you could keep thigs to one thread, rather then asking the same thing in different forums of the board
