downloade APE invalid files...

Hello vryone.
I have a little question.
I dlded 3 cd image files in APE format, with a cue sheet.
Fact is all three of them , once i dezipped them, are considered invalid.
Is there any way to check ifi dlded a dummy?
Or is there any way to recover them?
Or maybe again were they compressed witha previous monkey audio compressor?

Thankyou!

They might be encoded with ape 3.98. You can't use an older decoder for those files. Which player are you using?

Hello,

Not sure if this is linked to your problem but it helped me before.

If you DL the ape files inside .rar files you could try to 'recover' them, its under one of the options in WinRAR, it will try to reconstruct the .rar file if it finds suspect data it will ask you if you want to add it (i usually do). Its fixed a few rar files for me.
