Checking ogg and mpc files for consistency

I recently had to recover some files from a harddrive and now I'm looking for a quick way to check their consistency as I don't have .sfv files for all of them.

I check(ed) mp3s with EncSpot (analizing complete files in search for sync errors), but now I would also like to have something similar to check my oggs and mpcs. Is there an app or a way that will help me do this quickly, as listening to all of them would be very time consuming.

If the ogg files hold audio encoded with FLAC, I think you can test them with the following command: flac -t filename.ogg
Not sure for files encoded with Vorbis or Speex.

MPCscan works a treat, thanks a lot... i presume it's reliable

As for oggs, I made mine thru foobar and checking them with flac.exe doesn't seem to work, but thanks anyway. So I'm still looking for something to check them, help appreciated

Ogginfo can be used to check the consistency of Ogg Vorbis files.

Sorry for the late reply... Thx QuantumKnot, I found the description of Ogginfo and it seems the tool to use indeed, but I was unable to find a downloadable windows binary. Can you point me to one?

http://vorbis.com --> downloads --> Windows --> vorbis-tools --> http://www.vorbis.com/files/1.0.1/windows/...1.0.1-win32.zip

Includes ogginfo.
