UPnP MediaRenderer Output

Please, if anyone could help me to properly configure my setup, I would greatly appreciate it. Perhaps it's not meant to do what I'm trying to do. Basically, I typically use Plex to "cast" to my smart TV. That's cool, but I just spent 4 hours trying to install a python audioscrobbler using pip on both WSL and Windows. I hate that. Anyway.

Looking around I discovered that I might be able to use foobar to "cast" to the smart TV instead, which I would MUCH prefer.

Maybe it's not going to do that no matter how I try, but Plex will cast to it. Hmm. Maybe I need to install Bubble UpnP on the smart TV?

Have a look please. You'll prob have to view full screen. (my eyes are bad)

many and profuse thank you for looking, and any advice. I do have the output device set to the uPnP .
i suspect I have the ports incorrect, but the Bubble server seems to be complaining as well.
Lastfm as PSU_Strummer. i used to play guitar on stage. that was fun. now i enjoy listening to it on foobar2000

Bubble says no media servers detected, but it does show foobar as an available media renderer, along with along with UpNp/AV "OpenHome" which I installed that "player", which doesn't seem to do anything, but it does give me option between real and virtual ethernet connections. I really don't know what i'm doing. That's embarrassing, but clearly I have a lot to learn in this department. I appreciate your advice.

I don't know what info to provide, or I would have already. :(

For what do you engage Bubble?

Let me describe my setup, maybe it helps:

Computer ATTIC is a small headless Windows machine, for which I have connected external DAC. There is fb2k with "foo_upnp" component configured as renderer only. It captures audio stream on input and sends it to external DAC with the help of additional component "foo_out_asio+dsd" and dedicated ASIO driver. See attached pictures.

Computer ASROCK is my current workstation, with fb2k and "foo_out_upnp" component. It reads audio files from my library and sends out the stream over the network instead of driving local audio device. Once you install the "foo_out_upnp" component you should see all available dlna renderers in your LAN. Please note that I have yet another SALOON renderer, which is a sibling to ATTIC, located in different room and driving different audio device.
Then on ASROCK  you can configure proper output remote device. Audio stream is read by ARSOCK and sent to ATTIC where it is captured and rendered to local output device. The disadvantage of my solution is that you can send only single stream at a time. That's OK for me. Also see attached pictures.

I don't have any other "smart" devices like TV or whatever, but in my opinion all such devices should be "dlna compatible". You should see them on the list in the computer with "foo_out_upnp" component. So you should see your "smart TV" there and be able to redirect output to it.

I thought that was required for using Chromecast. I don't know or remember why I went for that.

I simply want to have the audio from foobar2000 going to my tv (why? so I can listen while I am consuming other media in my primary speakers).

Got it! This is very helpful! Thank you VERY much.

You welcome  8)

This is the power of foobar. It is a wonderful piece of software.
There are many others like JRiver, roon etc, but all of them are closed ecosystems. With foobar and the whole community of third party components - the whole world is open. The flexibility is unbeaten by any other software, not even close to fb2k.
Btw, my ASROCK is a Linux machine, with fb2k under wine. No, there is NO fb2k equivalent in Linux world.
