Spectrum visualization not following the music when window is restored?

I am having an issue with the default built in spectrum visualization. When I restore the Foobar window from a minimized state, the spectrum visualization is not following the music, but rather following some sort of pre-set wave pattern. It took me a while to finally realize that's what was happening, but now that I know, I cannot un-see it. It's like the visualization is falling asleep because it knows the window is minimized or something. Perhaps to save resources? I don't require any resource saving on this PC. Any way to disable this? Is there like a "performance" setting in Foobar? It is kind of annoying to see the animation not matching the music, even if it's only for a brief 1 second.
