Need help with mp3 CDR

Recently bought a Phillips CDMP3 player and now wondering how to make mp3 Cds that would play on such a player. Do I just make a data CD with Mp3 files or do I have to make some special kind of CD (what about those special tugs everone talks about?)? Also, would it work if I just dropped those mp3 files on a CDRW formated in udf (DirectCD)?

Would very much appreciate your help.

You actually just need to burn a plain cd with the mp3s in it.  I am not sure about the directcd thing, I really doubt it will work though, but cds are so cheap that you can always try it.
