Request: Opus Streamer

Does anyone have any plans to write an Opus Streamer similar to Vorbis Streamer? As many of us already know, Opus is very quickly climbing the ladder of "good codecs."
A neat thing to add to it as well, would be that if the file is already in Opus codec, it simply streams it without re-encoding. Not sure if it's possible since I never see that option, or perhaps it would be fairly difficult to implement, but think it should be fairly obvious.

Icecast already has a beta that supports an Opus input. Not sure on its limitations though.

So anyway..?
