[solved] Temporary playlist + ColumnsUI?

If anyone's familiar with iTunes, Winamp, or MediaMonkey, you'll know that these three programs have a "Now Playing" sort of playlist. It's a temporary playlist that you can easily rearrange and remove tracks from before they're played.

Is such a feature available in Foobar combined with ColumnsUI? I'm not quite talking about the Queue Editor, since after a song plays it disappears off the list. I'd like mine to stay there until I create a new playlist.

Here's what the playlists look like in those other programs:

Thanks!

All my playlists that aren't auto-playlists I view as buckets for temporary arrangements of tracks. The playlist you are playing is your now playing playlist.

PC = TAK + LossyWAV  ::  Portable = Opus (130)

@carpman: you are certainly right. however, if you're using two playlist panels side be side with the intention of one being a 'now playing' list in the usual definition, you run into a big problem: both will show the same content

@dharmaturtle: use es_playlist or el_playlist. you can lock each of these playlist viewers to a specific playlist

Perfect! Thanks very much ruebe!

For future googlers, you lock the either es or el playlist by right clicking the panel > Playlists > Follow NowPlaying Playlist.

Edit: Pity I can't change the topic "solved" :[
