FlacSquisher 1.0.0 released

FlacSquisher is a GUI utility for Windows that encodes your collection of FLAC files using either LAME or OggEnc, maintaining the directory structure from the FLAC collection. After nearly two years, FlacSquisher is now out of beta, and has a stable release.

Key features of FlacSquisher:
  • Free-and-open source software
  • Takes advantage of multi-core CPUs
  • Only encodes new files: when you rip a CD, FlacSquisher will see the new CD, and only encode that
  • You can choose whether to copy other files to the destination directory, such as album art
  • Support for Unicode filenames
