wavpack & cddb

I looked around but couldn't find anything...hope this hasn't been covered already.

I would like to find a ripper that can take my cd collection to .wv and use cddb for tagging. Preferably a ripper that can handle the correction file as well. Any help appreciated.
TIA

I appreciate the effort but it looks to me like the CDDB support is a "local database". Don't know where I could find one of those or where I would store....gotta be pretty big!

EAC can use freedb2 for looking up disc info, use this address: http://freedb2.org:80/~cddb/cddb.cgi

As for a local database, I downloaded the freedb database a few days before it went down and i think it was a couple hundred MB, not very inconvenient at all.

greynol - Nothing against Freedb but it draws a blank on a LOT of my classical & international stuff. Doesn't make it bad. I also didn't get any album art when using Easy CD-DA Ripper.

skelly831 - I couldn't find any CDDB or Freedb database to download and your link gave me a 409 error.

Guess I am batting 000 tonight. I can't even get the emoticons to work.  :\(

I was thinking you might be needing cddb for classical music.  dBpowerAMP has allmusic support.  Maybe it can fill your needs.

I don't think you're doing it right, the address I gave is for accessing the freedb2 server in programs that support it like EAC and foobar2000, please check this screenshot:

Also please note that freedb is no more, freedb2 is the successor. The freedb2 database is available for download from the site: http://www.freedb2.org/news.html

I use freedb2 for manual searches/raw data/CueMaster.  The new freedb seems to be utterly useless for this, at least since the last time I tried using it a couple of months ago.
