Internet function in foobar doesn't work

I don't have any idea why this happens but foo_uie_lyrics and freedb tagger doesn't work
freedb cannot retrieve and foo_uie_lyrics can't connect or just doesn't find even pop songs lyrics

It should be a firewall issue but I'm just using Windows SP2 firewall at the moment

I am using Lyric DB as I type this. Both receiving and uploading. It is working perfect for me >_>. I run Zonealarm and I have no issues with it and the database. I have alot of security programs running with no problems.

I am also using foobar 0.8.3 if that matters .

Perhaps redownloading the plugin and deleting the current one you have may fix things?

Just letting you know that the Lyrics CB is working...

I'll try but I don't think it will work, I'm using their latest versions

I don't think it's a firewall problem as for me LyricsDB is working fine
but freedb2 never worked

Is there are any error message (perhaps on the console)? Also, some networking issues were fixed in the latest 0.9.2 beta.

Try another server, for example the freedb.freedb.org at port 80 (the default server) worked with that query.

I already tried using other servers
...I'm thinking about downloading the v0.9.2 beta5, will I lose something such as trackinfo panels configurations?! May I backup something?

You shouldn't use anything. For saftey make a backup of you foobar-direcotory!

I didn't lose anything when upgrading, but make a backup just in case of the entire FB2K dir.

edit: chaser was faster.

You seem to have misconfigured the server that the freedb component will use. foo_freedb2 only supports connections using the HTTP protocol. The server us.freedb.org supports HTTP connections on port 80, but in your case foo_freedb2 tries to use port 8880 where the CDDBP server is running. Feeding HTTP commands to hte CDDBP server obviously leads to errors. Please go to the components preferences page and fix this.

I'm using us.freedb.org, port 80
Select all the songs of the album and Tagging -> Get tags from freedb

Remember that some albums are not avaliable in freedb

That exactly what I did, no luck. Tried it on Blue Oyster Cult - Agents of Foryune. I know that one is in there.
