Picture in Picture

hi,

at first i will explain my problem in german....

danke fuer eure hilfe

now the bad bubblefish translation!

ok, I have no idea to convert is...
I get 2signals form capturecard of cameras (maximum 4),
now is to be written by software, all this on one video signal .
Now, how  (would be nicely even if someone a solution for C #)
to start the "picture in picture" compression ?
theoretically or practically?
can one the 2nd or did x-one picture be smaller and give an position? ..

thanks for your assistance
