Layout mode with screenreaders?

Hello. I am blind. I use NVDA. Can I edit UI elements that show in main window in default user interface? Quick setup is not for me, but I want to make a more custom view. I just want to experiment, find out what features it offers me, but it looks like layout mode is completely unavailable with screen readers. Or maybe there is a blind person here who somehow dealt with it? The only thing I can do is to give the right mouse button on the current item, e.g. playlist, and I have options like cut item, paste item, but under object navigation I do not see other items to add or remove.
Greetings
