Koss Pro DJ-200 Not receiving the Right-Channel

I realized today that my Pro DJ-200 has been in Mono Mode for a long time. and when I flipped it to stereo mode via the switch on the right side , the right side went dead. It works in mono mode, but not in stereo mode. I plugged in a pair of ear buds and using the accessibility option on my ipod touch, I discovered that it isn't my ipod, because when I slide the bar all the way to right, my right ear bud plays sound alone. If I do the same with my headphones, The headphones go completely dead.

so in stereo mode only the left side gets sound at all. If I play only the right channel, the left side goes dead also (which is how I decided it is the right channel that is causing problems)
In Mono Mode, both sides work, but they only play the left channel. If I slide it over to right channel only, both sides are dead.

so the problem must be the headphones or the cable. I don't have a spare cable to test the cable, but I am wondering if it is indeed the cable. I am thinking, given the nature of this switch, that putting the headphones in mono just causes the left channel signal to be sent to the right side. It disconnects right channel from the speaker and connects left channel. or something like that. If so, It would probably be that little switch that is the issue and I need to figure out how to open these up.

where the cable plugs into the headphones, it is a little loose, i tried wiggling it a bit but, nothing happens, so I guess it isn't that connection. I hate to wiggle it too much in case I damage it.

any advice?

Taken off the Koss site for your model "Covered under the Koss Stereophones Limited Lifetime Warranty". My ESP-950s have the same warranty and they just replaced them when the 950s gave problems. Call and find out for sure.
