Use the design of "v0.9.3.1" in the newest version of foobar

hi,

i updated today my old version "v0.9.3.1" to the newest version "1.1.9" and was shocked, everything changed. And i was so silly that i overwritten my old version but i saved all playlist's and settings (foobar2000.cfg), the problem is i need the new version because of the converter (the old version cant convert aac to mp3).

Is there a way to use the new Version with the exact same Style/Design/Settings of my old version (v0.9.3.1) ?

(sry for bad english)

Thanks !

No idea how close the look can be when you included no information about how it previously was set up.
Advice I have is to reload the old version and include screen shots in your reply. http://filehippo.com/ should have old version for you.

While there are many reasons to use the current version over one as old as 0.9.3.1, this does not sound like a valid one. Why couldn’t it? Raw AAC or AAC in an MP4 container? foobar2000 has been able to play both for as long as I can remember. Or was the problem not in decoding the AAC but encoding the MP3? Again, I don’t recall any incompatibilities in that regard.

What exactly are you missing in the new version that is in the screenshot above? It is a very minimalistic setup, with just playlist tabs and a playlist and the normal controls on top. You can replicate that in some minutes. If you don't like the new columns based playlist, you can just create a wide column with all information, too. That is to say you can quite easily replicate the UI in the screenshot with 1.1.x..
It's only audiophile if it's inconvenient.
