Any Chance that VQF might be added?

Is there any chance that VQF might be added in the future?  The reason I ask this is that I have several rare albums in VQF format, and it is unlikely that I would be able to find them in any compressed or uncompressed form, and know the perils of re-encoding.

VQF is not a codec that matches the high quality profile provided by foobar, but adding VQF to foobar would be appropriate because it would give users the ability to enjoy their libraries to the fullest.  Thanks!

It might be added sometime by someone.
foobar2000 SDK is availible and anyone with enough knowlege can add it.

Peter wanted someone to quote him: "VQF IST DEATH!!!!!!"
And he says it's SDK is the gayest SDK he's ever worked with...

i don't think that it will be added because:

1) nobody has it
2) nobody wants it
3) nobody needs it
4) nobody likes it

Seriously, as soon as I get the time, I'm going to make a VQF input plugin.  However, there will never be an official VQF plugin for multiple reasons.

The main reason for not including VQF is that the SDK is crap.  VQF2 is the latest VQF standard that supports 80-192kbps TwinVQ, but does not have an open SDK at all.  Repeat, there does not exist any VQF2 source or VQF2 SDK in any form. The latest DLL files that implement the VQF2 decoding engine that I've located are almost 1MB of compiled code and reverse enginerring them would be difficult.

The existing VQF1 SDK which supports decoding the 80kbps and 96kbps modes is not-thread safe and filled with bugs that make proper implementation in foobar impossible, including the fact that it decodes 16-bit only and is not thread-safe at all.  Things that foobar does natively like ReplayGain scanning would be broken in different ways due to lack of thread safety.

Funny thing.  The only VQF album I have is, indeed, by Death.
