Compilation issue

Hi,
I'm a very happy foobar2000 user on PC. I was hoping to be equally happy under android, but so far no luck.
Any help will be appreciated.
I have a pretty large library (40K) tracks
Minimal but well tagged.
Mainly classical.
I place composers under artist. The interpreters go under "comments". I also have a pretty well organized album naming technique and folder structure and all works great on PC.
On Android when I list albums, I get multiple thumbs for each album with more than one "artist". I understand this is normal behavior.
In order to prevent this, I added another tag: set the compilation to 1.
That seems to be working if the library isn't too big? But beyond a certain size library, foobar fails to group albums.
Is this a known issue? Are there any workarounds that don't require extensive retagging?
p.s. I am using UpNP with foobar v2 on PC to share the files with android. I wonder if this is also a problem?
