Now playing banner

Is there any way to display in a big banner across the screen of the playing Artist-Track ?.

I often have requests from guests who aren't familiar with f2k and sometimes from guests who are familiar with f2k, what the song is. If there was a way to activate a Now Playing banner which could be visible to all from a distance it would obviate this nuisance and it would make f2k more user friendly at parties and during normal use.

You could try foo_osd.

To display the currently playing track, you can simply bind it to a global hotkey such as:
Type: Main
Action: View / On-Screen Display / Title auto-pop up / Show current track
Key: Alt+N [Global]

Will that permanently scroll a banner in big letters across the screen so that it can be seen from across the room by the, sober. drunk, high, gay, and passed out guests ?

All that the folks want to see is the Artist-Track of the song they like whilst having a good time without having to approach the "bench", then squint and try to decipher what is currently playing in f2k.

Call the app, "party banner", it'll be a hit for sure :-))

Just use the component WSH Panel Mod and the configuration script from WShtpc04.
