Replaygain crashes foobar when scanning this file

Hey guys, I was checking out this protest song and tried to Replaygain it but it completely crashed Foobar every time i tried and in one attempt  froze my computer for a while.  Very strange. Running WinXP on an 800mhz P3, with track gain specifically enabled and all "replaygain" options checked. It's not a crappy file, either, Encspot says its Lame 3.92 at 160k CBR. See if the same happens to you guys. Just as scanning is about to end completely, Foobar freezes and immediately crashes and closes.

And here's the song.

Here's the original site to download it from just in case.

Doh...

Thought it might be helpful to perfect Foobar, sorry guys. I dont have a way of distributing the file. I guess i can just transcode it to MPC.

Feel like jumping on IRC and coordinating DCC send to someone who can test and confirm this as a bug?

Transcoding to mpc will not result in audio quality improvement, if that's what you want. It will result in audio quality DEprovement.

Oh no, thats not what I want, I just wanted to see if it fixed the replaygain problem, and it did. Definitely something wrong with the mp3 though. I'm not really THAT fond of the song, I just thought it would be a good example to perfect Foobar.

Actually, Im going to upload this to a geocities site to see if anybody can confirm it.

Edit: Here's the file, only download if you're serious about testing it.

I get no crashes when I RG scan that file with 0.62a, and it also gets a new ID3v2 tag. Meh, this music isn't my style.

This is very strange. After reading your post I decided to give it another shot and bam, it worked just fine. I must have RG'd the file like 10-12 times with a crash everytime to no avail. Only thing I did different was get rid of the spaces in the filename so I could upload it. Truly weird. Anyway, thanks for taking the time to confirm, Kode54.
