Need help with EAC/MAREO configuration

Setup question from an absolute newbie...

I'm preparing to rip my cd collection, and have installed EAC with Mareo, in hopes of ripping my discs in .flac and .mp3 formats simultaneously.

I went through the install and configuration and have tried a couple of test rips -
Following each song scan, I get a message indicating that "mareo.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close". This is typically followed by another message in a separate box (in this case for a self-titled CD, track #4, titled "Trompe L'Oeil". Similar messages appear for each track, and :

Hopefully I don't have this this all set up TOO out of whack - but if need be I can go back and do a full re-install or reconfiguration. Hoping some of you experts can tell me just what I'm doing wrong here.

Thanks greynol - I unchecked the Skip extraction on read or sync errors box and tried to re-rip the CD, but I'm getting still the exact same error messages.

Are you telling EAC to hide the DOS box? if so, you had to tell mareo not to print to screen iirc.

If you want MAREO NOT to log to the screen, create a file called: MAREO.EXE.NOSCREENLOG and place it on the same place where MAREO.EXE is.

If you want MAREO NOT to log to a log file, create a file called: MAREO.EXE.NOFILELOG and place it on the same place where MAREO.EXE is.

Kwanbis -
I don't recall any configuration setting for EAC wherein I would have instructed EAC to hide the DOS box. I'd like to have the log file, and I have not problem with MAREO logging to the screen, unless doing so is creating a conflict with the EAC settings.
