5/7.1 MPCM over HDMI from Winamp?

I wasnt sure of the right forum for this but I'm guessing I'm not the first person to have wanted 5.1 PCM output over HDMI from Winamp.

I currently use an Ilink audio output plugin to output 5.1 16/44-24/96 PCM from my DVD-A rips. ILink though is going the way of the dodo currently and of course when I upgrade my HT kit I wont have an Ilink option any longer.

Does an HDMI PCM ouput plugin for Winamp exist? Is one even needed or does Winamp just work with HDMI 5.1 PCM?
