Here's mine, nothing original just a combination / modification of a few peoples configs. I'll call it "mutt"

How did you do that album list on the right side? I'd like to add something similar

Mine's pretty minimal and practical. I try to keep everything about my PC clean and simple looking. Clutter = evil.

I want to mess with the colours a bit, but I'm a little unclear on what's what in the style box.

Just using foo_uie_graphical_browser, pretty much the only plugin I do use haha.

I wish I could somehow add glass behind the top toolbars (or well, their Columns UI equivalents), without using WSH Panel... the programming language used in it got me fairly puzzled :l

Where do you get those time-stamped lyrics? Minilyrics' database?

Hmmm....getting some inspiration from this. Looking good. Mind sharing your config so far?

It's a work in progress, not working progress... go idiocy!

I hate multi-posting but I can't find an edit button...

Here is the final of the one I posted above.

The four different images are so you can see the minor scripting differences that went into this (I am very proud of them )

This is what it looks like when playback is stopped:

Playing an MP3 File:

Paused:

Playing a FLAC File:

The main differences are in the item details, and on the bottom status bar.

If you want me to share any part of this with you, please, let me know.

Here's a preview of mine.  I really wanted something that integrated into Windows 7 well and I also really like kabuki's interface, so I recreated a few things using kabuki's screenshots as templates.  It's still a work in progress and needs a few things added to it, but overall I'm really happy with the way it's turned out so far.

It seems that i should have shared my config before now, so you could have saved some of your time instead of recreate some of my code.
If you want to go further with parts of my screen shots, i have now shared my config here
cheers

Where did you get that seekbar/volume bar? If you made it, could I use it?

Base design is from MonoLite Plus http://junior-spirit.deviantart.com/#/d2hyapy which is a Columns UI theme.

The Google and What.cd buttons up top are linked to the Run Services component and will search the respected site by artist name. More changes:

Edit - Is there any way to do the "aero glass mod" effect with Foobar v1+ and Columns UI?

Thank you, here is what I just finished making using the color and seek-bar from MoonLite/Plus...

This is my full layout:  (edit: I removed the status bar from the bottom and the scroll bar from the playlist because it looks cleaner)

and this is the compact:

I made these because after I looked at everybody else's, I realized mine actually sucked. I feel that these are both actually very good. Please tell me what you think of them.

I don't know about "Glass", but you can get transparency under the 'Main' tab in the Column's UI config.

EDIT: I finally found the stupid edit button (it actually wasn't there yesterday for some reason)

That sounded oddly pretentious, and for some reason you can't edit posts after some time...

What I mean by glass is the cool overlay effect Windows has sometimes. I think you are looking for transparency so what I said earlier is the way to get it. If you need help, don't hesitate to ask.

Edit: I need help writing a script for the info panel that will rotate displaying the Title, Album, and Artist of a song. Any help would be much appreciated.

I found this going back to pages 45-50 of this thread.  I managed to figure it out with wsh panel mod and panel stacker to get areas right.  You can find the correct script back on those pages.

THAT is glass, and very much cool. I'm going to give it a shot.

So I forget what I changed - maybe a combination of Splitter Panel and the WSH mod code.  But it is now extending the characteristic white line across the glass area. Any ideas? I'm on my way to (my) perfect skin!

I've been playing with my personal config for a while now.  I'm sure that this will evolve over time as new components are developed, but I'm pretty happy with it for now.

I'm posting my UI. I created it using Collums UI (using 0.3.8.6 in this moment). This interface is beautifull and easy to use. I made it thinking in a good "album view" appearance and 3 spectum analyzers (Peak, loud and FFT band PeakMeter).

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

This spectrum is a good tool for a "real-time graphic debug" audio information for everyone who works with digital audio. It can help in aswering the question (Is this a real sound or created by with some "Psycoacoustic effect"?). Remembering that shows just the energy of the audio spectum NOT the sound. The conversion Audio/Sound is heavy-influenced by all specs of your audio hardware/cables/power-amplifier/speakers/atmosphere/acoustics/hearing-conditions. The spectrums could consume a lot of CPU in older computers (mainly the FFT spectrum). If you have an older PC turn this off.

Backing to UI, It has a large dark playlist with some main information (number of the track, artist name, track name, bit and sample rates and lenght) separated by artist, album and year (all information comes from id tags, so update your files to take a good view)
The main controls buttons are simple texts.
There's a large lenght scroll in the center of the window and a black box with information about the playing file right under the scroll.
The volume scroll is located at left of the black information box neary by the menus and controls.

It is possible to resize the window to enlarge the playlist. (You can enlarge it horizontally not vertically)

I'd love the info for your simple seekbar/buttons with the black background.

Good musical tastes in this thread, too!

Since you guys are far beyond anything I can currently do with foobar/CUI, maybe you can lend me a hand here

Recycling some parts of my config, I decided to give a try to Windows' Aero inside foobar2000. Still my goal remains on simplicity.
(I just hope that Peter or somebody else can give us a better way to do this than handling JScript.)

This is what I've got so far:

Thoughts and suggestions are welcome.
