Few questions on Resampling.

1. Is R. needed for all the types of files, or the change of the quality will be noticeable enough only with PCM files?

2. Does Audiophile 2496 needs R.?

3. What is this Prefs>Plaback>Module Decoder>Interpolation: FIR, linear, none?

4. What is the "fast mode" of R.?

Few questions on Resampling.

1. Depends on your hardware and/or personal taste.
2. Not likely, but again, up to your taste. Might sound better on files of really low sample rates, but depends.
3. Module decoder preferences, resampling setting for the internal sample mixer of said module decoder.
4. Smaller FIR window, higher minimum frequency or something. Much faster, and you shouldn't notice the difference.

Well, actually I meant just 44.100 up to 48000 (i.e. CD>EAC>HDD>FB2000 ;-))

Could you be, please, more particular?  I mean what features does every thing posess (FIR, linear, none)...

What is FIR (window) ?
