WMA Surround files in 0.9.4.1 seen as stereo

I have some 6-channel WMA lossless files I wish to playback using 0.9.4.1, but the software sees these files as stereo files.  Using 0.8.3 played these files back flawlessly as 6 channel files.

6-channel flac files play fine in 0.9.4.1

Can anyone else confirm this?

Is this a lame question, or am I the only person using WMA files for surround on this site?

What sort of encoding are you using for the "surround" ? AC3? DTS? Some dedicated 6 channel wma format?

I can confirm, foobar2000 0.9.4.1 cannot properly decode multichannel WMA.

Since I'm not a coder, how do we get this issue fixed?  Is there a queue of bug fixes where we can add this item?
