Should the test participant be aware of that there are two identical c

As the topic says, I'm wondering whether or not the participant should be informed that there are two identical choices? (my guess is that they should.. or?)

..I can't believe nobody has even posted opinions on this one yet...

I think the less the test subjects know, the better your results will look 
But, since 2 are the same, then you should try not to imply that all of them are different, but without hinting that any are the same.
If they think they are all different = not good.
If they know 2 are the same = not good
..some answers may be used more than once, or not at all

yes, the listener should be made aware that there is a hidden reference.
