Which version to use for Extreme?

Hey all,

I'm encoding some MP3s for my MP3 CD player and I'm coming up with some leftover space after encoding with the new standard. I can fit 9 whole albums on the CDR but I have 25 MBs left over. So what I was thinking about doing is encoding the highest bitrate MP3s in a highly preset like extreme or insane. I just read that it would be a bad idea to encode with extreme or insane from the new version Dibrom put out. Could someone direct me to the best version to use for Extreme? Thank you in advance.

The latest "official" release you can find should be fine.  This one for example:

should work quite well.
