Foobar FLAC/MPC and getting rid of leading numbers

Ok let me say first what I am doing.  I have a Music folder and sub folders by artist album in FLAC and would like to convert the whole folder in another folder let's say Music2 that's all MPC versions and keeping the same folder structure and tag info so I can use it in the latest Winamp and it's media library. My foobar will encode FLAC to MPC I've tried that BUT ...

1)  it adds leading numbers to the file name like "001".  I'd like to get rid of that, how?

2)  Also how can I tell Foobar to keep my directory structure?

3) and third, I see in a test MPC the Tag info is labeled APE, is that the way to go?

just as it all works with Winamp I'm happy.  TIA
