Fb2k Sometimes Hangs When I Add A Dir To Playlist

With quick search for "hang" and "freeze" in the support forum, I didn't find any similar topics.

foobar2000 0.8.3 (special package with some extra plugins) sometimes hangs when I add a directory to playlist. It is kind of weird, I am able to duplicate it every time I do things the same way.

So, I have a mp3 directory structure like:
K:\mp3\<genre name here>\<album name here>

- Bug happens only when I add the WHOLE K:\mp3 directory to playlist. The "Processing files" window hangs EVERY TIME on the same directory (something like K:\mp3\<genre name here>\<album name here>). The UI is alive, I can abort it.
- Ok, next I try to add ONLY the genre directory (K:\mp3\<genre name here>) to playlist.... works, "Processing files" window doesn't hang and the tracks appear in the playlist (even the same album that hangs the process when adding whole directory tree).
- Works if I add only the specific album to playlist.
- Hangs to the same album if I add whole K:\ to playlist.
- I tried to add the same directory tree to another computer's playlist (over mapped network drive), it also hangs on the very same album.

Has anyone had any similar problems? Is there any other debug info I should provide before this bug (?) becomes solvable?

This is kind of annoying because I need to add one genre at a time to the playlist...

Can you figure out which specific file in the directory causes it to hang?  Maybe then it could be updated to not hang on that file type.

The directory only contains 15 MP3s.

I just tried to modify the tags (APEv2 & ID3v1) and rewrote them to the files from database... still hangs.

Weird.

I created the following diretory structure:
K:\test\fb2k_hang

...and copied the hanging album (only mp3 files, no extra stuff) there, added K:\test to playlist and it works () (so that the album directory is K:\test\fb2k_hang\album_name)

...and it freezes like this: (I can still abort). Once it let it run all night but it never finished adding the files to playlist.

I have tried to rewrite APEv2 + ID3v1 tags using fb2k (in case corrupt tags was the cause), also tried to rewrite ID3v2 tags with ID3-TagIT but these didn't have any effect.
