no sound and random for all

Hello, I've just installed F2k on a new computer, but it doesn't have any sound.  WMA plays the files with sound.
Also, how can I play random files with multiple files not having to press the Random button each time?
Thank you!

Some more information is probably necessary to help you out. What are you playing? And I assume you mean Windows Media Player?

0.8.3 or 0.9 beta? If it's the former, try changing your output method in Preferences -> Playback -> Output; in both cases make sure that the correct output device is selected.

To Drenholm: Yes, I mean Windows Media Player trying to play mp3's.

To ssamadhi97: I use 0.8.3.  Please be more specific on the correct device issue; I don't understand.

The problem with random play is that it chooses only one title.  I want continuous random play from a list of titles.

Thank you!

Thank you!  My mistake was in pressing the Random button which I though to be the sane as with the procedure you described.
