does masstager has an %masstager_index% var?

The title says it all, I think I saw this somewhere in the forum before but after spending some time searching for it, I decided to post it here.

Does masstager support something similar to %_playlist_number% variable (because unfortunately masstager doesn't read this variable)?

I want to rename files in a playlist and append the position in the playlist to the filename ... the only way I found right now was to do an autotrack number with all the files but it has the counter effect to well, render the track number meaningless afterwards

i think the workaround is to transfer your tracknumbers to a temporary field, do the autonumber, rename your files, then transfer the real track numbers back to the tracknumber field.  use 'guess format from other fields" i think.
