One of the things mentioned which may well prove reasonably effective is the music companies delibrately sharing 'decoys'; ie misnamed files.

This would be especially annoying for movies (i tend to check the first couple of minutes when it's partially downloaded to check the quality anyway, so it wouldn't be too bad i guess)!
