Bass Drop Out When Seeking Backwards

When playing an MPC file (I don't have any other types on my PC) if you seek back to the very start whiles playing, the bass drops out for a second or so.  It does this with Direct Sound 2 and ASIO, so it's not the out put method.  This isn't a know characteristic of musepack is it?  I've noticed this in the past few versions of FooBar2000

I've included a .wav file of this happening.

This doesn't happen with my MPC files. I have no idea what could cause it for you... Does this happen in other players, or just foobar...? *suspects files*

Your issue (or at least a strikingly similar one) seems to have been noted already, but I can't find any signs of work to correct the problem.

I'll gladly send you a file that does it.  I don't use anyother players, so I don't know if it's only FooBar.  All my files were made by me, so I know they are not corrupt in any way.

This is a fault of SV7 bitstream format and can't be properly fixed without forcing full decode from beginning of file to seek destination point. Expect it to be fixed when SV7.5 arrives.
Microsoft Windows: We can't script here, this is bat country.

Cool, thanks for that.

So... when's SV7.5 due out?  (J/K)
