ZEN XTRA 40GB

Hello,
I get a message whenever I connect to my computer that my unit is connected to a non-high speed USB port and will operate at reduced speed?....Does anyone know how to resolve this problem?.....I don't and didn't even know there was such a thing as a high speed USB port on the computers.
