AAC file Cutting ?

I was wondering.. with the predictor tools, is it possible to cut a BIG AAC file to few smaller files without damaging the prediction sequences ?

I think you will get errors in the prediction until every scalefactor band predictor has been reset. IIRC every scalefactor band has to be reset once every 30 frames, which is about 0,75 seconds for 44.1kHz.
