My favorite music video, by far, has to be Pearl Jam - Jeremy

I like "that other Pearl Jam video" better, "Do the Evolution".
I'm the one in the picture, sitting on a giant cabbage in Mexico, circa 1978.

Squarepusher - Come On My Selector
Aphex Twin - Come to Daddy

So yes, anything by Chris Cunningham.  I have very similar mannerisms to him, in the interviews I've seen him in

I've seen a documentary about his "Windowlicker" Vid, which is one of the most "interesting psychological / thought provoking philosophical / hilarious" things ever

OOh, Unkle - Rabbit in Your Headlights.  Awesome

Prodigy - Poison (if this song/video never got released, I'd probably have a different nick now )

I also like most of the videos from Tool, NIN and Marilyn Manson.

Michael Jackson - Thriller, Remember the Time, Billie Jean, Beat It, Smooth Criminal

more than a few from assorted artists  in the the 80's back when MTV was not an oxymoron that meant "endless crappy shows and playing the same 5 videos to death"

To me, no other music video captured the spirit of a song so perfectly as Pearl Jam's "Jeremy"

Fatboy Slim - Weapon Of Choice

That was a great video!  Watching Chris Walken dancing around with a cane was hilarious, and represented very well the fun that Fatboy Slim elicits with his music.

I also agree with Viper1313 and chrisgeleven about Pearl Jam's Jeremy.  When I first heard the lyrics...

At home, drawing pictures
Of mountaintops
With him on top
Lemon yellow sun
Arms raised in a "V"
And the dead lay
In pools of maroon below

...what I later saw in the video was exactly what I had pictured in my mind.

Another great one was Pink Floyd's Another Brick In The Wall (Part II).  The video was just scenes from the movie The Wall, but hey, any scenes from that movie would make for a great music video (being pretty much a 90-minute music video, itself).

As for what my favorite-of-all video would be, I don't know.  I haven't watched any new videos in years, so I'd have to reach back to the 80s and early 90s in any case.  I'll think about it...

I do remember the first music video I ever saw.  Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers Refugee, sometime around 1983 or 1984, when my family first got MTV.

Autechre - Gantz Graf

Seriously, check this one out.  I could watch it ten times a day.. but I'd have nightmares.  I'm not really into 'lectronic music either, but this is far out, man.
