As you can see from the component page, it has not been updated since 2010, that is way before anything x64.
But source is available here, so if someone volunteers to compile it, you might be lucky.

fb2k already has a native setting in the advanced preferences to avoid clearing the queue on manual track change.

And if you want the queue saved/restored between fb2k restarts, this component does it...

https://marc2k3.github.io/component/queue-viewer/

It's off by default so you need to open the viewer from the view menu>right click the toolbar>check "Keep queue on close".

Hi marc2k3, thanks for your advice. I managed to install everything. But the queue won't hold a list of recordings. I have the latest version of Foobar2000 and also the queue component from your link. "Keep queue on close" is checked. I'm making a mistake somewhere, unfortunately I don't know where. I've been dealing with it for several hours alternately on 2 PC's. Can you please advise me? Thanks.

This is officially certified as "works on my pc".  :D

It's not necessary to be a part of any layout - I've just included it for illustrative purposes. You only need to enable the check box once and that's it.

It does save the queue as an external playlist on shutdown but since I write to the fb2k profile folder, there should be no permission issues.

Hi marc2k3. Thank you very much for your help. Everything works perfectly according to your instructions. I found out how little I know about the app. FB2k is really a very extensive application. And so I get to know its parts step by step. I enjoy it and I enjoy the gradual steps.
I have one more question. I have multiple songs in the queue. When I play a song that is not in the queue, my queue is deleted. How can this be prevented? After many attempts I couldn't find a solution. Thanks for the further advice. Joseph
