Can't update

I have ver. 2.1 32bit installed and want to update to the latest.
I download the .exe from the website, double click it and... nothing happens. I tried running it is admin mod but... same.
Am I doing something wrong?  :-\

In some instances, such as the Windows 11 that I use. After clicking "More info" in the dialog box as korth showed above, you may need to bring the cursor to the bottom of the dialog box to reveal a white colored bar area that is then clicked on to bring up the "Run Anyway" option.

Wonder why that happens  :-\
It's Microsoft trying to protect naive users from installing potentially harmful / fraudulent software from non-Microsoft sources.  Naive users might still ignore the warnings if the scammer on the phone tells them to, but at least they can't claim not to have had a warning.

I get a similar problem with Chrome refusing to connect to non-https websites unless you jump through hoops each time, as if the thousands of http websites are automatically compromised.
It's your privilege to disagree, but that doesn't make you right and me wrong.
