[Feature Request] Add option to not stop playback when closing app

I would like to see an option to not stop playback when closing the main app window.  This would be roughly equivalent to "minimize to tray" features of a desktop app.

I primarily use the home screen widget(s) to start/stop/pause playback.  If I mistakenly click the cover art in the widget when I don't intend to, the full app window launches (as expected).  If I then want to clear the app from my list of open windows (by either opening recent apps and swiping up or pressing the back button multiple times), the current behavior is to stop playback.

One could argue this is inconsistent behavior, as playback of audio is possible using the widget or notification area without any app window being open.  Also, Google Play Music did it this way. :))
