newb question: Editing music files in android Note 10

Hi all, I have newb question. I've searched the forums and can't seem to find the solution i'm looking for. I want to be able to edit the music files from the foobar app while my phone is plugged in via usb. This works fine through the ipod i used to have and from a smaller mp3 player. Is there a specific plug in i need? It takes quite along time to shuffle files from the phone to the hard drive and edit them and put them back, especially with my particular flavor of ocd with music files.
