Lose playback history after crash or improper shutdown 2021-01-04 18:13:35 I'm on v1.3.1 and if I lose power resulting in an 'improper shutdown' of Windows I notice foobar loses all playback history from the last time it was properly shutdown. Not a huge deal but I've noticed playlist info can be lost as well. Can somebody let me know if this was remedied at one point and if so I'll upgrade and if not then I'll report a bug. thx
Re: Lose playback history after crash or improper shutdown Reply #1 – 2021-01-05 04:11:49 Maybe give this a try https://www.foobar2000.org/components/view/foo_jesusOtherwise try the portable of latest version and see if the same thing happens?
Re: Lose playback history after crash or improper shutdown Reply #2 – 2021-01-05 11:23:23 This is not a bug per se just how foobar works. The session is kept in memory until successful shutdown or [hold shift key] > File > Save Configuration. You can set foo_jesus to run that command automatically every X minutes or after X tracks played in Preferences > Advanced > Autosave... (I would not set it too low however, does not need to be every minute)
Re: Lose playback history after crash or improper shutdown Reply #3 – 2021-01-05 18:13:07 I'll give it a try thanks!
