Automatic Start/Stop feature of Sony WH-1000XM4 not supported?

Hi,
how can I enable support for the automatic start/stop feature (removing headphone stops playing, putting them on starts playing) of the Sony WH-1000XM4 headphone?
Using Youtube on the same computer (Windows 10 2004, Firefox) works with this feature. Any idea how to activate it on foobar2000?
