I have problem playing my playlists
"Unable to open item for playback (Unsupported file format):
"C:\Users\Home\SoundCloud.asx""

Here is asx: http://paste2.org/pfek04Zk

Note the track list number is: 448
Perhaps too large?

Indeed, your playlist can not be opened by foobar.
Unfortunately foobar does not report problem details, as playlist is valid (XML) and WMP plays it fine.

I never had this problem, and if I find the cause I'll further reply.

Side note: you should have uploaded original playlist instead copy/pasting as encoding is ruined that way

Correct.
foobar errors if ASX playlist file is larger or equal to 256 KB (262,144 bytes)

I'm afraid I would do anything in this case. For playback of such playlists you could try different player, like WMP

Whoa, this tool is amazing!

I have one question, though.
When playing a track, my player displays only this URL:
Code: [Select]
http://api.soundcloud.com/tracks/154777433/stream?client_id=7bc0e952b53edbede0b9ba12996c8bbb

How can I convert it to a link like this...?:
Code: [Select]
https://soundcloud.com/porter-robinson/lionhearted-feat-urban-cone

I tried soundcloud.com/tracks/42663926 and snd.sc/42663926 but they don't work

That information is present in the playlist file as "href" attribute to "moreinfo" tag:

Code: [Select]
    <entry>
        <title>Porter Robinson - Lionhearted (feat. Urban Cone)</title>
        <author>Porter Robinson (porter-robinson)</author>
        <copyright>all-rights-reserved</copyright>
        <banner href="http://i1.sndcdn.com/artworks-000082629676-lqw32k-t500x500.jpg" />
        <ref href="http://api.soundcloud.com/tracks/154777433/stream?client_id=7bc0e952b53edbede0b9ba12996c8bbb" />
        <moreinfo href="http://soundcloud.com/porter-robinson/lionhearted-feat-urban-cone" target="_blank" />

Yeh the file is 737KB.
Is this a known/reported issue? Hope they fix it in a future release.

Btw, great tool!

Just some friendly input. An option to remember username/password would be great

Also, would you know if it is possible to fix the following problem with streaming audio.
I have the Waveform Seekbar installed that shows the audio files waveform.

However when streaming? it shows empty.

Waveform seekbar always shows no waveform when streaming. It is only designed to show pre-analyzed waveforms loaded from its database...it is not analyzing the audio as it plays.

Noted.

Although your screenshot looks like you are playing radio stream, those are probably tracks stored locally.

In case of SoundCloud playlist, where we have individual tracks (unlike continuous online radio stream), maybe seekbar can be enhanced to analyze the track while initially played and then provide waveform if same track is played again (unique path), but you'll have to ask plugin developer if he is interested in implementing such thing.

I can provide SoundCloud waveform images for tracks, that can be embedded on waveform seekbar, but you'll need to find someone who understands shader language if such thing is possible at all.

And you can always use builtin foobar visualizations...

The link is down, is this plugin still functional? I'd love to be able to stream soundcloud from foobar
