Splitting a single .flac track into two separate .flac tracks

I all of my music albums are split into individual tracks (.flac files).

For Example

Folder
Artists\Album\

Files
01. Track1.flac
02. Track2.flac
03. Track3.flac

Every now and then there is an album that has a "Bonus Song" at the very end... a lot of times they add it to the very end of the final track on the album.  So you get a final track (.flac file) that is super long because it actually holds the original song... a gap of silence... then the bonus song.

I want to know what the easiest way to split that final track, into 2 tracks... so that I can have the bonus song as it's own standalone track.

I think it's possible to make a .cue file for that last track, and use cue splitter to split the track?

But I'm not sure where to begin when it comes to writing/creating a proper cue file that will split correctly...

and I was also wondering if there might be a program/software that could streamline the process of splitting the track... I'm not super comfortable with writing my own cue file from the ground up, and feel like there could be something out there that makes it super easy?

****I may have just came across a suitable answer to my question.  It seems I can use Audacity, mark separate tracks, then export multiple flac tracks.  This appears to work, and I'm assuming that this process does not degrade the audio at all.

It does not.  To assure a "bit-perfect" result, confirm the following Audacity setting:

Edit > Preferences > Quality > High-quality Conversion > Dither set to "None"

You don't need dither when cutting a CD file and exporting back to same format.
