1.4.4 crashes

I'm getting frequent crashes since I updated to 1.4.4.

What is strange is that I'm using 2 copies of portable FB - both have the same version, DUI layout, components and setup.
Only one is crashing - it has my master library (1.76TB). The other is used for preview library (<20GB) and has not crashed at all.

There does not seem to be a trigger - the crashes happen randomly when playing. (e.g. select a few albums via SIMPlaylist, play (shuffle tracks) and a few songs in, it will crash)

The most recent crash (laptop was only being used to play music, no other activities):
Problem signature:

This is the most useful ntdll.dll lead that I've found, but not particularly helpful:

I'm using win7 64-bit, intel i5-2430CPU @ 2.4ghz, 16GB RAM, FB general RAM usage ~950MB.

appreciate any help!

That's EXCEPTION_IN_PAGE_ERROR. It means that the OS loader failed to page in some data required for the application to run, probably due to an I/O error or other error.

0xC0000006 errors arise when your program goes to page more data for the EXE into memory, but couldn't. Usually this is caused by an I/O issue when attempting to read the data.

Thanks Case, that does make more sense.
The crashing copy has been running from the ext. HD, so I'll try and move it to my internal.
