About applying EQ

Since i know how to add EQ to a file. Everytime i convert my flac's to my mp3 player the files there have horrid clicking noises that never go away?.

Hi there,

You might be introducing clipping. Use the 'Auto Level' button on the EQ, or add 'Advanced Limiter' or 'Hard -6db Limiter' to end of the DSP chain when converting.

(I'm not sure which is preferred from technical point of view. Other folks here might be able to explain more about clipping).

Cheers
